Background:
I was commissioned to produce a piece of sculpture to be sited in Houstead Woodlands in Sheffield.

This piece was very much loved by the locals, and was often visited by school parties. 'Awakening' became known as 'The Faun of the woodlands' renamed by the residents who lived near by.
