Background:
I was asked to produce a portrait of the famous scientist Stephen Hawking. This is the maquette that I produced after several sittings with Stephen.

The final piece will be set in a garden within the grounds of Cambridge University. The bronze sculpture is to be sited on a stone base and will be in the scale of one and a half times larger than life.
