CHELSEA ARTS CLUB FIFTH PLINTH
Eve Shepherd currently has a solo exhibition at Chelsea Arts Club - a private members club for artists on Old Church Street in the heart of London.
Her artwork, Pan, was selected to be showcased on the Fifth Plinth - the club’s dedicated exhibition space for sculpture - from over 130 submissions. As artists are only permitted a solo show at the club once every five years, this is a rare opportunity to view Eve’s work in this historic and exclusive space.
The Soho Open
Eve’s work God Save The Queens has been selected for the launch of The Soho Open. In its inaugural year, this new exhibition offers a platform for diverse and innovative artistic expression - celebrating creativity in all its forms - in the heart of London’s Soho district.
A panel of judges comprising Paul Carey-Kent, Frances Richardson, Mervyn Metcalf, Monika Bobinska and Shanti Panchal were responsible for selecting up to 100 works in 2D and 3D for display at Great Pulteney Street Gallery.
THE WITCHCRAFT AND WOMEN SUMMIT
Eve is excited to be partnering with the upcoming Witchcraft and Women Summit by Seed Talks - where she will be presenting The Witching Circle.
The event will feature a series of talks and workshops from world-leading experts - tickets are available here.
Recent Features in Print
Eve’s work has recently been featured in three new books by bestselling authors: Lobster by Hollie McNish; Feminist History for Every Day of The Year by Kate Mosse; and Queer as Folklore by Sacha Coward.
“In 2021 a new statue was erected in Cardiff of a person called Betty Campbell, sculpted by Eve Shepherd and chosen via public vote. Betty Campbell was the first black headteacher in Wales. I think it is only after walking past it, and stopping in my tracks, that it made me realise how rare it was to see any tribute such as this” - Hollie McNish in Lobster
